You’ve nailed the wedding plans, now it’s time to pack for your honeymoon – and your honeymoon beauty routine. Sometimes you just can’t afford to leave home without your favourite products, and when it comes to your honeymoon there are some products you do not want to leave home without–period. Especially if you’re beach bound for your post-wedding fun. From bronzer to shampoos and conditioners that fight the stormy seas, here’s a list of super-sweet things to keep you fresh-faced and gorgeous on your Honeymoon.
Beautiful Body & Face Bronzer
My favourite way to add a little color whilst on holiday is by using a kick-a$$ bronzer. My favourite way to save money on this product is to get one that’s for both face and body. So what works best for all skin types and tones? Lorac TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer from Ulta, $33. I get wicked skin infections and breakouts from pore clogging products, and I’m glad to say “This one rocks!”
Shampoo & Condition For Weathered Hair
Be sure to pack a really good purifying conditioner. This will be super-handy for those of you with blonde hair and intend to be in a hot tub or pool for most of your honeymoon. My faves are John Frieda Beach Blonde Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo and John Frieda Beach Blonde Smooth Seas Conditioner. For those of you with color treated or curly hair, you’ll want something ultra hydrating. Try OGX Weightless Hydration Coconut Water Shampoo and OGX Weightless Hydration Coconut Water Conditioner.
Keep Your Breath Fresh For Your Makeout Sesh
You’ll need travel size brand name dental hygiene products for your honeymoon. The best place to score these on the cheap is at the Dollar Tree. Most whitening toothpastes are $3 and up. Not at this place! Look for:
- Crest 3D White
- Colgate Optic White
- Plackers for Flossing
- Whitening Gel Pen to keep in your purse for a fresh smile all day and night!
Keep Your Face So Fresh and So Clean
Stay fresh faced the entire time you’re on holiday with this amazing face regimen. You’ll need:
- Gentle Exfoliator
- Makeup-Removing Balm or Creamy Face Wash
- Micellar Water
- Eye Mask
- Full Coverage BB Cream with SPF of at LEAST 20
Wash your face daily with your makeup removing balm or creamy face wash to keep skin clear. Apply your full coverage bb cream afterward. On day two and day four or five exfoliate your face with a gentle massage. Apply makeup removing balm for a second soothing massage. Use your eye mask to de-puff eyes. Then apply your bb cream.
Go Bold With Bed Head
On days you simply can’t be fussed with getting a shower before you hit the beach or an all day activity, you’ll need some killer dry shampoo to keep your hair from looking greasy when you tie it up. My favourite is Living Proof because it works for days in a row without build up. But my second favourite is Batiste because they have a variety of scents, sizes and even ones with a touch of colour.
